The 25th European Congress of Clinical Virology (25th ESCV Annual Congress), hosted in Milan at MiCo, brings together more than 400 Virologists and Clinical Virologists from across Europe to discuss all major infectious issues related to viral infections in humans.
“After three years of the COVID pandemic, this event is essential to reconsider the procedures for diagnosis, monitoring and surveillance of virus infections, with a focus on emerging viral infections from a global health perspective (OneHealth),” commented Prof. Fausto Baldanti, Chair of the Congress. “In addition, this appointment held in Milan, the Region that in 2020 recorded the first case of COVID in the Western world, has a particular significance for all those who have been at the forefront of the fight against the pandemic, as well as a recognition for the great scientific contribution of our country to the fight against viral diseases.”
